Domino Directory Assistance in Web Access
Hi, I am currently running Domino Directory Assistance (DA) with two additional address book from subsidiary companies and it works well when using a Notes client to do address lookups. However, when accessing the mail database on the server using a web browser I am presented only with my own address book and the address book for the main domain (ie not the two additional address books). The Domino server versions are 7.0 amd 7.0.1 running on Win2k Server SP4 and the client templates are DWA7. StdR7Mail and iNotes6. Does anybody know how to make the DA address books visible to web clients? Lotus literature says that it should work.

Answer Wiki:
If the 2 external directories are LDAP connected... "Be aware that external LDAP directories don?t show up in the Mail Address dialog, nor do they work for type-ahead. Use the F9 key to test resolution of addresses against an external LDAP directory before sending a message." Are the directories not visible on your same network? Aideme

Thanks jiliannc, the problem has now been resolved following a restart of the hppt task. I had restarted the servers early in the problem solving process but without success. I then did a bit more tweaking but neglected to restart the servers after the latest efforts. When I did think to do a restart of the http task it all worked perfectly.

Cheers and thanks,
