Q1: As I am aware this should work. Make sure the PIM Sync information is correct for you. Make sure that On Conflict it states Server wins and that syncing is bidirectional.
Q2: This is not possible without resending all the emails. The reason for this is that all mail that is actioned by the BES server is stored in your STATE database. This is how you receive your mail to the Blackberry if you clear or delete your state DB that will not be visible. There is no way that I know of to pre or post populate the emails.

Q1: If this is going to work at all (and I can’t guarantee that it will), you’ll need to use the Desktop Manager to add the other folders to those that are synched. It defaults to just inbox (or inbox and sent - I can’t remember which).
Q2: Officially, this is not possible. However, I may have just accidentally discovered a way to make it happen. I strongly suggest testing it first. It seems that if you delete a doc and then restore it from the Trash, it gets sent to the handheld. So, you could delete all the docs you want to send, and then restore them from the Trash.
