Why can't I be able to see my Domino 6.5 Application Template' agents (LotusScript codes) when I am trying to develop and edit it using Domino Designer v8.5? Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Firstly I am not a developer so I can add to much to the why’s etc. I will say one thing though.

It is not wise to create any design elements in 8.5 developer to run on a 6.5. This is because there are code and design elements in 8.5 that are not supported in 6.5.

You can try something to prove this. Create a design template in 8.5 designer then open it in 6.5 designer. When you try and make a change Notes will warm you that the template was saved in a more recent version…. and then warn you that you should not continue or design elements will be lost.

This will help for more information

Hi! Gabe9527, Thanks for the suggestion. Anyway, just to be clear, when I was trying to edit my template in ND8.5 I was not planning to deploy it in ND6.5 again because I know that it's not a good idea. I was trying to edit it in ND8.5 because we've just updated our server in that latest version. FYI, after trying to open the template again in ND8.5 was able to see the agent. Odd and I don't what happened. Thanks and I appreciate it! MatU
