Domain not found when changing password in XP and Error 1130 and Error 1726
We started getting error messages stating that the ABC domain isn’t available regardless if the password is expired after 30 days or changing it even if the password is not yet expired. If we try changing the password through the ctrl-alt-delete menu, it outputs the following error messages. "The system cannot change your password now because the domain is not available" "Error: 1130 – Not enough server storage is available to process this command" Some people get this other error message instead "Error 1726: The remote procedure call failed" What makes it even more confusing is the fact that all our Windows 7 Pro users do not experience this problem in any form. We are running Windows Server 2003 Standard SP2 and Windows XP Pro SP3 and Windows 7 Pro in some workstations. Please advise. Thank you.
