I'm using the Office 365 trial, just got it recently. I've noticed three different occasions now where I will get a "Reminder" ding a bell and pop up in the middle of my email or whatever I'm doing...and yet, I DIDN'T SET THIS REMINDER!
These are junk mail, like "Dear Friend," etc. and come from Europe or Asia from Yahoo accounts. They purport to be like reminders of meetings I've accepted, but first, I didn't even put these in here to begin with, let alone accept any of them!
So I couldn't figure out how to stop it or how it was caused, and went on live chat with Microsoft Support with a nice lady who was trying to figure it out but had no luck. I had to leave finally after hanging out in the remote session for a while, and when I got back she said she had sore questions for me, but then had signed out herself.
So my first question is, does anybody know what is doing this? I think some nasty backdoor thing has happened! And what should I do, call the Microsoft girl back again? Thanks.
