    You have to consider: what's your business risk if you leave it enabled? The first thing that comes to mind is someone on the outside might be able to map out internal hosts on the LAN or DMZ segments. Not necessarily a good thing, but you do have a network to manage. The best thing is to perform a security assessment of your environment to  see what can be seen and done.
