We have a docushare 5.0 environment and recently dropped the expensive support package. unfortunately the provided documentation i have access to only suggests that the Amberxxxx.tmp files are from scans, however no scans are being made and some of the files are growing up to 2 GB per day! can't find out much more based on the user guide and admin guide ... the files have names like Amber2570.tmp and Amber1979.tmp etc. some are very large in the 18-20GB range! is it okay to simply delete these files? I've tried searching the web for info on how Docushare uses this directory but the only thing I've found is a script for moving the docushare store (it want's you to move the tmp directory) and info on what to backup - the docusharetmp directory is listed as one of the directories to backup. this is why I'm hesitant to delete the contents of this folder. clearly docushare needs a temp directory but it appears it does not clean itself up. Anyone know the answer to this? thanks.
