Dear Mr or Madame On the web you find it very easily to register a domain name like www.name.com with ending .com or .gov or .co.uk . And I would like to find out where I can create my own ending to a domain name. So that it ends not with .com or co.uk but with for ex: http://www.name.mw , .3e3 , .opop or similar. Kind Regards Hellows

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The last part is called the Top Level Domain. It is under the control of an international organization known as ICANN. You can send them your proposal, and they’ll get around to ruling on it in a few years.

Hellows, To propose your own TLD idea, you may want to visit OpenNIC online at: http://www.opennic.unrated.net/new_tlds.html Be patient, as it may take time for the TLD to be accepted (there are many on a waiting list), but maybe you'll eventually have your own!
