 DMAAI SET-UP OF JD EDWARDS

Dear All

I am Deepak Patnaik working in JK Paper Ltd.  We use JD Edwards 8.0 version.  Can you tell me when system will call which DMAAI at different level. We have DMAAI number like 4330, 4332, 4385 etc. At the time preparation of OV (Stores Receipt) it call 4385, some time it call 4332, similarly at PV time also. 

So please make it clear how DMI works.

Hi deeepak, DMAAi stands or Distribution Manufacturing Automatic Accounting Instructions. These need to be setup before making any transactions.In the Fast path type DMAAI and setup the instructions which you need to. Whenever you make a transactions you need to have defined DMAAI like 4122 is for inventory.
