There is no problem, so there is no answer. A DLYW status comes because the program runs a DLYJOB command.

"DLY-5" is not a valid status. That would be the 'Function'. It indicates that the DLYJOB is set for a 5 second delay.

If you don't want a program to have a delay, then don't execute a DLYJOB command.

If none of your programming includes a DLYJOB command, then the command is running in some control function such as a routing program. In that case, you need to ask your system administrator about it. There is nothing you can do without help from your administrator.

So far, there is no problem. DLYW and MSGW aren't problems. They are normal states. If your programming does not have a DLYJOB function nor a RCVMSG function, then you need to run DSPJOB to look at the call stack to see what program is at the bottom of the stack.

A MSGW status could indicate that a problem happened if the job is waiting on a reply from QSYSOPR, but you need to supply us with the message ID that the job is waiting on. If there is no message ID, then there is no problem.
