What opens .dll?  I'm trying to figure out why there is a .dll file in the place it is supposed to be but the computer keeps telling me I don't have that file at said location.

OS: Windows 7

dll is dynamic link library. some program has to link this dll so that this is required.

    .DLLs are not "opened" as such. They provide functions for programs that link to them. If a system message indicates that a .DLL cannot be found, then either the .DLL is not where it's supposed to be or the system PATH doesn't allow the system to find it. -- Tom
