All distribution lists are in exchange2003, there are no DL's in exchange 2007. Users in exch2003 can, with no problem send emails with the DL.

EMC - DL's are shown , no problem in exchange 2007

If a user in exchange 2007 sends an email with a DL in exchange 2003, thats where the problem begins. We are in a mixed mode right now. I was thinking maybe the best way is to tell the exchange 2007 users to expand the groups until I move them over to exchange 2007

If you expand the group, you do not use the distribution list but send to seperate emailaddresses.
So your problem is not solved yet.
Are 2003 users able to use 2007 distribution lists?

If you go into the exchange 2007 management console and look at the distribution lists, do the lists in question show up there on the exchange 2007 server?
