If you created your own user menus using CL /CLLE just use the command RTVDTAARA as the first step. Then show the returned value in your display field. If your menu is being created using the CRTMNU command, what type of menu is it *DSPF or *PGM ?

Todd, can you suggest a couple of appropriate tags for this question?

So far it seems you knew what it was related to just because of the terminology being used.

Hi Carlosdl, I saw tags on the question of as/400 and data area by the social media icons. Not sure if you saw them.. Still getting used to the new changes here a bit myself.

    Hi Todd,

Originally I only saw 'data area' and 'menu' (I think) tags (and I even added a test one to make sure I still had the privilege to edit questions), but I see now there is one for AS/400.

    Thank you.
