If you have access to the GPO, I would suggest that you make the changes there, but, you are aware that you will be limiting your customers when they access the Internet. Many programs, even official ones, are now java based and if it is disabled, you are going to have some issues. So before you do so, check and see what programs are being run and if java is a big factor before turning it off.
