I'm sure this is an easy question to answer but I need help so here I go: On my Windows 10 laptop, what's the best / easiest way to disable from wireless connections? I want to know that I'm connected to the network only with an ethernet cable.

There are several ways, that depends on which way you are feel easy. Probably you asked for stop automatic connection of Wi-Fi. Click Windows button > Settings > Network & internet. Slide Wi-Fi on, then available networks will be listed. Click to connect. Now do disable/enable Wi-Fi.
