Would I be able to disable spell check for one specific document in Microsoft Word 2016? For other documents - I don't want it disabled. Is that allowed? Thanks.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

All Word paragraph styles inherits from the Normal style. If you edit the Normal style to tell him not to check grammar and spell mistakes, it will affect every styles and so, the whole document.

To do so, go to the edit menu of the Normal paragraph style, then format>language and check the “don’t check” box.

As you asked for one specific word, you can add this word to dictionary to resolve this matter. Open the word document. Click file menu > options tab. In this dialog, select Proofing & then on the right side, locate this sentence like, "When correcting spelling in Microsoft Office programs". Now click custom dictionaries button. Here select the default custom dictionary & then click "Edit word list". On next dialog box, type the word/words that you want to add. Now click add button and click OK. After that click OK to complete this procedure.
