 dimensioning with 3com 5642 router
Hi! we are an ISP with an 3com 5642 router, with a fastEthernet WAN link of 12Mbps. We want to upgrade to 20Mbps. Will this router uphold this upgrade?

It should. The unit supports up to 4 Wan modules. The fastest module appars to be a T3 which is 43 mb. It all depends on your current connections, what types are availiable to you, and if you have module slots open. Sorry for my late, late, late post. We already did that upgrade, but now we want increase our BW to 100MB. The question is if this router is possible to uphold this upgrade? I mean in processing. Also a 1Gb NIC can support this upgrade?
