Different versions form1 in my project

I installed Visual Studio 2008 full version, update, sp1. When I run the project, an old version form1 runs in my project, I can edit the newer version. Please give help!

    "an old version form1 runs in my project, I can edit the newer version"-- sorry could not understand this..... suppose I have a project in VB6, now I installed latest ver of VB, so obviously the earlier project can open in latest ver of VB! and also can edit it.
    Though I am not sure, have u completely deinstalled the previous version! Might be some instances/ the SW not uninstalled completely.... u can dnld a small tool called "total uninstall" (free) from the net and 1st remove the older version.
