 Difference in duration of RMAN backup on a RAC and Single node Database.
Backup and Recovery database
Does it take more time to take an RMAN full backup on a 4 (Four) node RAC database compared to a single node database when all the other factors like number of channels are same.

yes it does. you should be looking at technologies like hybrid columnar for your oracle DB. this technology will make your dabase size 10 times smaller so if you have 100GB of DB it will become 10GB and small means faster!!!
