A Spool file is the printer output from a job. DSPJOBLOG will display the job log for one specific job. Once a job is completed, it will becode a spool file.

    what is the difference b/w dspjoblog and spooled files…?   Everything is different between them. DSPJOBLOG is a command, and spooled files aren't. Spooled files are printer files that are held by the system spooler, and DSPJOBLOG isn't. They're simply two totally different kinds of things.   Tom
