 Did the wrong thing with firefox and osx
iNotes 85, Lotus Domino, Lotus Notes, Mac OS X
Hi, because of the fear of loosing my email text, the first time domino answered to install the necessary sowtware (8.5.2) to work correctly with firefox in osx i said "no", hoping to have the chance to do it in a second time. This doesn't happen nomore and now i'm not able to send emails from lotus inotes on firefox. Can u give me a link to do it manually or a solution? thanks

Check your preferences pages. There is a link in there to load the attachment handler. Your mileage may vary under mac & ff, but it is a good place to start. Another thing that may help trigger it is to clear your borwser cache and any cookies issued by that server. That is a pretty broad-spectrum fix but effective often enough to be worth the ten seconds it takes.

I did the clearing (cache & cookies) thing but it had no positive results.
About the attachement handler, if i have understood correctly i should have the attachement installed but unabled or on my mac to install.
Btw i don’t have it, and i was browsing the web to find it and install separately, but i’m not sure what to choose..in ibm page there are lots of soft and components and none of them says clearly “additional plug-in browser for FF on mac platform” or something like that.
