dialup / bysinc communication line

Bysinc, Dial-up, Communication hardware

Believe it or not, we receive EDi from one of our TP via dialup. Everything was working fine, until ATT shut off the phone line. Once the bill was paid and the phone line service has been restored. When I call into the # now ( the one that is dialed out from ) it rings and it is functional. However, when the programs go to vary on the controller - it remains in connect pending mode. Seems to me that something else needs to be reset within a controller/ line. Does anyone have any idea about how to correct the ":connect pending" message. The job hangs there for so many seconds and then it cancelled.

Like i said, prior to the phone line not being shut off, everything functioned as it should.
