 Dial a cell phone on a Nortel CS 1000
Nortel CS 1000, Nortel CS1000 Option 61
We own a Nortel CS1000 Option 61 and I will like to dial to a cell phone just by dialing a number and then the extension number. For example Jones ext is 2444 to dial his cell just dial 82444.

First off...no such thing as a CS1000 Opt 61 Second, you could make 82444 an ACD that night call fwds to the cell phone LD 23 New ACD ACDN 82444 MAXP 1 NCFW 9xxx-xxxx ( 9-1-xxx-xxx-xxxx, if LD ) or use phantom 500 TN the same way

Keep in mind if you do allow your calls to go off net (by allowing calls to be forwarded directly to a number outside of your PBX) you are opening up your system to hackers-
If you have a voice mail system such as call pilot you should have a feature called remote notification- This feature allows you to “alert” the end user or cell phone when a message has been left on said number and you can even schedule days and times for the alert to operate. The only issue is it will continue to alert the end user until the acknowledge and listen to the message -
