 DHCP Split Scope – Win2008 Ent R2
Hello

I've found several articles on how to perform the DHCP split scope configuration. However when I perform the right mouse click on the existing scopes, the advanced option is not avaliable to start the wizard. I'm using Win 2008 Ent - R2.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Answer Wiki:
If it's grayed out, it would probably mean it does not know of any other authorized DHCP Server 2008-based. Preparing another server and authorize this server and then attempt again.

Hi Aquacer0,

Found my problem, I CD that I was using was not Release 2. My co-worker insisted that it was and it was only sp2. Once I got a hold of the right media. it worked great tested it with out any problems. However is thier a way to re adjust the distribution of the percentage of the scope after it be established. For example you later on decide to chang it from 80/20 to 65/35. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
