DHCP Relay Agent
Hi guys
I have a situation over here....
I have 2 networks... 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x...
Theres a windows 2k3 server runnig routing and remote access and confiugred as a router .... and theres a windows 2k3 dhcp server on tbhe 192.168.1.x.... it has 2 scopes configured, one for 192.168.1.x network and 192.168.2.x and both of these scopes r included in a super scope .... ok now.... for client to lease ips from the dhcp on the 192.168.2.x network... i have a server running dhcp relay agent on the 192.168.2.x.... but for some reason the client which i want 192.168.2.x ips get 192.168.1.x ips..... i want them to lease 192.168.2.x... do u have any idea how do i do thats.....

I really don't know where the problem is here but I would try some experiments. See what happens if you reserve an address to the client MAC in question. What is the network configuration of the DHCP relay system? Can you use your router as a DHCP relay? You could also configure the server on the .2 net as a separate DHCP server for that net.
Sorry I don't have a better suggestion but I have never seen symptoms like you describe.
