Windows Server 2003
Hi, Our Setup consists of a Windows2003 Server acting as a DC. We have a DHCP server running on it. Quite often, we have seen that the IP addressess leased by the server are not updated on the server. Due to this, we have issues with our home grown tool (which sends notes to pc based on the IP Address). How do we correct this ? ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks Regards Jagdish

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Make sure the DNS server supports dynamic updates — preferably secure; also configure DHCP to act as a proxy to perform updates in DNS on behalf of clients that do not support it.
