Determining maximum throughput for WAN & LAN interfaces
How can I determine what the maximum throughput is for the wan and lan interfaces on our Sonicwall pro 3060? How can I stress test it and see numbers? Our Internet line is 100MBits but we have never gone over using 39.75Mbits so I wonder if we can?

Answer Wiki:
You will need to find another host or hosts on the other side of your link where you can do multiple file upload/downloads. Try some of the linux image repositories and get some big ISO images. Note that you will be limited too by whatever size internet connection the destination system has.FTP is a good stress tool for network links. iperf is also another one that can be used to build several streams.
