Determine who’s running the job
Hi All,
I would like to know how can we trace who run the program (person/job/program) running under batch.
My question may seem confusing but, I would like to trace who runs a program, what time it was executed and what triggers this. What I can only see is that this job is running under batch. I know the job name, user, and job number. How would i know the root (where it was executed, run by, time, etc) since the program job log does not shows error except

In this log, MYLIB does not exist anymore, and this program is not being used anymore. I can't find this on my scheduled jobs. What locations would i check?

The first place to check is the joblog. The second message in the joblog will be a CPI1125 message that describes how the job was submitted to the system. Once that information is shown, it will help narrow down the rest.
By general appearance of the CALL command, I'd guess that it came from a server job. But there's no way to guess which one. The CPI1125 will help.
