Hi ,I'm using windows7 professional & insatlled Dell soundmax audio driver .but it is not working properly . Please suggest any solutions.

Is this the factory installed sound card? If so, go to Dell.com service and support and using your service tag number check if you have the most current version of the driver. If you do not have the most current version, download and install the most current version. If this is not factory installed hardware chek the web site of the manufacturer of the sound card for the latest drivers.

    yeah i agree, go to dell website and you will need to put ur pc type and service tag and you can download your drivers from there..not only for audio but the rest of the drivers too

    Hi All, Thanks for your suggestions . after a long search i found a solution . This problem is happening with the Windows 7 professional with Dell audio drivers installed. The change one value in the registry fixes the sound problem. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionMMDevicesAudioRender{10500ddc-19db-4a3b-ba48-0e0e69a32055}Properties {1da5d803-d492-4edd-8c23-e0c0ffee7f0e},0 change the value other than Zero (preferably 1).
