Lotus Designer 8.5, Lotus Notes database design
Hi all, I would like to know what will happen if a user using an application which has been developed using Lotus Designer 8.5 ? Is there any problems with the users to use all of the functions provided? Thanks..

On the web...no. On the client...well, it depends. There are functions in 8.5 that didn't exist in previous client releases. You'll have to find out what your developer is doing in terms of taking advantage of new features. Also, if you're way behind in client levels you may consider curbing 8.5 development until you've migrated your clients to a more recent release.

thanks for the info. looks like I’ve to do the development for new databases using the old version until all client has been upgraded into R8.5..
