Designing FM200 gas suppression system -- retrofit

Data center design

A SearchDataCenter.com reader wrote in to follow up with the Ask the Expert Question Regarding Halon or FM2000.

With regards to the FM200 gas suppression system, how do we go about designing the space to accomodate the gas cylinders as well as the reticulation of pipes. I understand that it depends on the size of the room, however, there must be a rule of thumb that can be applied to calculate number of bottles, sizes etc. (A room of 16 m x 9 m with 3 m height ceiling containing IT equipment). Also, does it require a space to accommodate a control panel on the wall? How much power (watts) does the system require to operate.
