The client program on the recipient&#039;s system is always going to be in control. You could send in HTML format, but you can&#039;t force the client to display HTML. You could embed the ad as an image, but you can&#039;t force the client to display images. You can create in any format you want, but you can&#039;t force the remote client to honor your choices. You can&#039;t even be sure that the remote client could make sense of your choices because you can&#039;t know what client software will receive what you send. -- Tom]]></description>
