What is the standard way at deploying Windows updates to Windows 7 clients now?

WSUS is still the standard way of deploying Windows updates towards WIN 7 clients. Its easy and convenient and still supports WIN7 O.S.

    I would still use WSUS. Just my personal opinion.

    This all depends on the number of computers, where they are located, your bandwidth, what tools you already use to manage / deploy software and do you need to control the roll out. WSUS does not scale to large deployments. Single sites or a WSUS server at each site for a small number of sites works well. SCCM + WSUS for large scale deployments over multiple locations with repeaters at sites with more than a few PCs. An all Server 2008 (R2) / Win 7 Enterprise setup has the option to use branch catching with SCCM.
