Delphi application freezing on search
Delphi 5.0, Oracle development, TAdvStringGrid
We have a deplhi application running.
Sometimes (NOT all the time) when the user selects a search criteria and enters the search field, the application freezes after displaying the results in the grid.
The grid that displays the search result is of type TAdvStringGrid. Backend is Oracle.

Have you had a look at the task manager, to see if the program is using the CPU when it hangs ?

Also, if you enter exactly the same search criteria that made the program hang, does it hang again ?

What is the OS ?
