Answer Wiki:
If you don't have the support CDs for your server you may go to <a href="http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=PWE_PNT_2800&os=WNET&osl=en&catid=&impid=">Dell</a> and download all necessary drivers starting from the SCSI controller that will be required by the Windows setup (when it prompts for "Press F6..."). Once you have downloaded at least SCSI and NIC drivers the remaining ones can be downloaded directly on the server as soon as you are ready for the initial Windows setup. You'll also need a floppy drive (USB will probably work, it worked for me) to install the SCSI drivers during install. ==================== Good answer! On minor "tweak": substitute "storage controller" for SCSI: there are at least three different storage controller options to be had on this server (SCSI, SCSI RAID and SATA/SAS RAID), all requiring different drivers, and not all of them SCSI... As I said, a minor modification... Oh, and the USB floppy will indeed work for this server if the BIOS is set to recognize "Legacy USB Devices"
