Hi, I would like to know if anyone could help me with a problem I am having. I have a dell 15R laptop that will not power up just makes one beep over and over, around 4 seonds between. I have stripped the laptop to see if anything was loose nothing!!! Replaced the the bios the ram the hard drive all the same. I am stuck, if anyone can help would be much appreciated thanks.

i guess if it is still under warranty better you call your vendor

When u power on laptop, at this time if it displayed any message to press any func keys….. u can try at least once, hold and press the left alt key and the func key(which it asks if so). check what next it asks for. Else it is better to register ur complain on dell website. At least their response is more better than other vendor / contact any HW expert. Generally Beep means either memory / vga error.
