I have a Dell d630 laptop with Windows 7. While I was using it, the screen resolution changed. The screen display got blurry and everything on the screen went bigger in size - both text and picture. I tried to change the screen resoultion in the display panel but it wont. The only option is 800 by 600. It doesnt show the 1024 by 768.When i checked the properties of the graphics driver, it said the device is working properly. Then, I shut down the computer hoping it will be ok when i turn it on again. However, when i turned it on again, nothing can be seen on the screen. But I can hear the usual sound of the laptop when its opening the windows.
I hope you can help me with my problem.
Thank you very much.

I second with Ehance24……
although you could try booting your Laptop to safemode if possible, by pressing F8 continuosly when first turnning it ON..see if it allows..if it works then you might have unsupported resolution or Graphics Driver issues..but if that doesn do it, then Enhance24 may have the ideal solution for you…
HTP
Remove the battery (if possible), disconnect the power; remove and reset RAM. Now hold down power button for 30 seconds. Again reconnect power and turn on. Though Ehanse24′s link is a good reference !
ok last time when my friend got his 1 month old laptop from dell, what happen was after using a while the screen will get blur and there is nothing he could do to adjust it..
in the end it was actually the motherboard that had problem..he had many other problems before and after that he just return his laptop for a full refund.
Agrere w/ Jinteik – sounds like a hardware maulfunction. Ehanse’s steps are awesome, and once you determine that you’re no longer getting video, period, then look into exercising that warranty…
