Delivery Failures for mail I did not send – Spoofing or Trojan
I'm getting delivery failures for email I didn't send. It's probabaly someone spoofing my account, but could it be a trojan sending emails directly via SMTP? How can I tell? Is there a way to query the SMTP service for a list of sent emails?

Here's a similar question and answers for your issue. ============= Delivery failure messages are usually caused by an antivirus trying to fool the email receiver. If you suspect that the delivery failure messages or emails are not yours, you have to delete it immediately or move it into your spam folder. Never attempt to open it as might cause further spread of the virus into your computer system.

Chances are good that your email address is on a spam list and spam is addressed to make it look like you sent it. Happens to me a lot. The next best thing is to monitor your SMTP logs on your server or better yet setup a network analyzer (such as OmniPeek or CommView) somewhere between you and your server or on the server itself that monitors outbound SMTP traffic.
