Q:
Deleting mail rules in Outlook 2002 SP3
Hello,

I've started getting duplicate emails coming through outlook. This seems to be because 2 new email rules have been created out of the blue! I've tried removing these by selecting the inbox and going to:

tools: rules wizard (no other mail rules options on the menu) and try to delete one of the rules.

When I click on OK, it then states: 'A value in the rule description box has not been set' and I can't delete the rule! Very frustrating.

Any thoughts on how I could resolve this?? If there is a way of removing all rules this would be ok too.

If you are using an exchange server and group policy, rules could be administered there. They take precedence over local machine based rules/

Hope this helps!
