Deleting mail from mailboxes in Exchange 2003
We have recently migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 Standard. I need to purge the mail from a mailbox but I do not want to delete the mailbox - just clean it out. This was an easy task in Exchange 5.5, but I cannot see how to do it in Exchange 2003. Any help would be appreciated!

Answer Wiki:
If you want to purge mail from a mailbox without deleting the mailbox permanantly, first disable the user account of the mailbox you want to purge through AD Users and Computers, next, open Exchange Systems Manager -> Adminstrative Groups -> select the group (i.e. domain) -> expand servers -> select the server which has your mailbox in question -> first storage group -> mailbox store -> mailboxes -> right-click to open the options menue and select Purge from the selections. This will delete all mail stored in the mailbox without deleting the mailbox itself.
