My company has Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. There are 15 clients who are connected through domain (Active server directory), and all are suffering the same problem. All deleted files are coming back after login.

We also have this problem – same server OS. The only solution I’ve found is for the user to log off their machine, then make the deletions from the server itself – obviously not satisfactory. I’m eager to see if someone has a suggestion. It’s not a virus issue, as far as I can tell. All workstations and servers have up-to-date definitions and are scanned regularly.
Dou you have roaming profiles enabled? If the profile is not replicated up at log off / shut down then when you log on next time you will get the files pulled back down as part of the profile.
Is offline files enabled?
With either of the above, a permission issue where the user account cannot delete files on the server could cause them to remain on the server and come back after login.
