 Delete Expired SAVF
AS/400 backup, SAVF, WRKSAVFBRM
Using BRMS for backup on AS/400, the savf will be generated in the brms system library (q* in qbrms and can show by WRKSAVFBRM). I would like to know how the expired savf be deleted if no backup job with same control group execute SAVSAVFBRM? Moreover, will those not successfully saved to tape expired SAVF be deleted by some system job? Thanks in advance

Hi, We have a job scheduled for BRMS called STRBRMMNT - I believe that this does the cleaning up of SAVF's, etc. There's probably a setting within BRMS for controlling this, but I'm not sure where that is. Regards, Martin Gilbert.
