Hi..... I have a requirement like delete the objects within the TMP folder instead of deleting the folder. Kindly suggest me the ways of deleting the objects with in TMP Directory. If I use RMVDIR, it will delete entire directory. But my requirement is need to delete the objects with in TMP only. Thank you, GK

If there are sub-directories, do you need to keep them?

If not, you can do RMVDIR DIR("YourDir') SUBTREE(*ALL) ,

    then use MKDIR "YourDir"

You should be careful about which objects you delete from /tmp. The system and various products use that directory for various temporary objects. Do not delete all objects in /tmp until you determine how each object is used. Many /tmp objects should not be deleted. -- Tom
