Delete Blackberry Internet Service

I just got a BB through my work and while setting it up I selected to use the BB internet service (Verizon) when I should have done enterprise activation. I have done the enterprise part and it works but I am still getting messages through the BB internet service and the phone won't let me add additional e-mail accounts without using the internet service (which I don't want to do) any suggestions on how to change back to only enterprise server? I have done a total wipe of the phone and it did not fix the problem Thanks!

The first step in troubleshooting a network, software or hardware error is often to perform a hard reset. You neglected to mention what device you actually have but with most normal Java® based devices follow the first method.

To hard reset your device you would remove the battery, while the BlackBerry device is powered on. Hold the battery out for about 30 seconds, and replace. The BlackBerry device will reboot.

Note: A hard reset on a C++ based device is accomplished by pressing the Reset button.

Note: To perform a hard reset on a RIM models 850, 857, 950, or 957 device, insert the end of a paperclip inside the small hole on the back of the handheld.

This will put the device back to the way you got it from the factory. You can then go ahead and re-set up the device and not install the internet service.

Thanks for your answer KarlG. I am using the BlackBerry Curve 8330 form Verizon Wireless. I tried your suggestion above but I am still getting messages from the Enterprise Server and the BB Internet Service. I have noticed that the Enterprise messages come as soon at the same time they arrive on my desktop (outlook) e-mail, the ones from the Internet server takes some time 5-10 min before they arrive on the handheld. Any Ideas how I disconnect/delete my account with the Internet Service and go with only the Enterprise Server? Others in my office only have the Enterprise so I know it’s doable I just set the thing up wrong. My companies IT department is small and knows nothing about this stuff. Any other suggestions?
