Delegating control to create e-mail enabled distribution groups.

I have a single user I would like to delegate control to so they can create mail enabled distribution groups within a single OU. So far we have setup the user to create, modify, and delete distro groups however we cannot figure out the proper permissions to have the delegate create the Exchange address hence making the distro group "e-mail enabled". Any Ideas?

Hello,

Instead of selecting the Create, Delete and manage Groups task from the standard delegate control list, select create a custom task. This list will allow you to get very granular as to what you want to allow a delegate to do. You’ll have to experiment with some of the available options to figure out which combination will work, but this should resolve your problem.

Good luck!
