Decrease hard drive use by system restore on Windows 7 laptop?
Is there a way to decrease the size of the hard drive that my system restore uses on my Windows 7 laptop? I need all the space I can get right now. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot and disable it but can I make it take up less of a footprint?

Although system restore is very important in your computer system security, you really need to limit its hard disk drive use. The best thing you can do is to delete the previous system restore files through the system restore settings.
