Deciding on configurations for SQL Servers

Servers, RAID, RAID 1 vs RAID 5, RAID 1, RAID 5, SQL Server configuration

My new server has 3 x 146GB SAS 15k 3.5" HD, which came pre-configured as RAID 5, and 2x 73GB SAS 15k 3.5" HD, which came as RAID 1. Should I leave this configuration as is or should I change it?

That's fairly standard- you'd put the OS on the raid 1 and the database on the raid 5. Ideally you'd have two raids for SQL- one for the data and one for the logs, but if you don't have the spindles for it, you don't have them.
