Here is a very good article by Scott Turrull on how to use the registration facility and exit points to secure Client Access requests.

http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/0,289483,sid3_gci1000656,00.html

It is Part 2 in a series but it has a link in it to Part 1.

Hope this helps.

(Ron Rurrul.... Not Scott).

It also normally possible just to remove the "Transfert To ISeries icon" from the Iseries Toolbar)

Hope this may help.

Go to Menu Option in Excel
Tools -> Add-Ins.
In Add-Ins list Uncheck option ‘Client Access data Transfer’.
This will disable Iseries data transfer options in Excel.

If you wnat to remove even option from Add-Ins too, then delete ‘cwbtfxla’ file from shared folder in Client Access folder in PC.
