DCPromo and windows server 2000 print server
I've got a rebuilt domain controller running Windows 2000 Server SP4.
It is one of 3 domain controllers.
Since the rebuild I've not been able to synch the Sysvol, and
I've seen dcpromo as an option to demote the
domain controller, move off the Sysvol directory and then repromote back
to a domain controller.
Can I dcpromo to demote and repromote
without effecting it as a print server ?

Yes. Using dcpromo to demote a domain controller will make it a member server in the domain and you will still be able to use the print server services on the server.
