DC grounding in home

Grounding
I need to add a ground bar for some DC equipment I am installing at home on our second floor.  Do I have to run braided ground strap all the way to the common ground at the fuse box, or can I use the ground that is run to all our outlets?  I know I have to have a common ground for everything, just wondering if I need to run a separate path, or if I can use what is already in the room.  This is the bar I am going to be installing.http://stormcopper.com/design/Electrical-Ground-Bars.htm

You need to ask a qualified electrician. Nobody should be giving out electrical wiring advice in an on-line forum. There is serious risk and liability involved. And this forum isn't about electrical wiring to start with. -- Tom

I'm not smart enough to answer this question and suspect that few people on this site have the electrical training to do so. Definitely bring in an electrician.
